While symptoms may be subject to classification, people are not. Individuals with autism and mental illness are as diverse and special as these paintings created by client artists of Glenwood, Inc. At Glenwood the focus is and will continue to be on the individual, not the disability.

About the Glenwood Lectureship
The Glenwood Lectureship was begun in 2005 as a collaboration between Glenwood, Inc. and the UAB School of Public Health. The purpose of the lectureship is to link the clinical service expertise of Glenwood with the research and teaching expertise of UAB. As the lectureship develops, it will hopefully foster a growing sense of unity around the health impacts of and care responses to behavioral health disorders such as autism.
