Seeking Social Worker to work with children and adults placed in a specialized foster home or respite home. This position will match the needs of the child or adult with a foster or respite home and monitor the individuals progress and needs. Must be willing to do in home work and travel to various homes in the community to provide services.
Requirements: MA in Social Work with required licensure, LCSW preferred. A min. of 5 years exp. in child welfare, mental health or social services. Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families is preferred. Must be willing to serve in an on call capacity. Valid AL driver's license and driving record acceptable to agency's insurers; clearance with Alabama Dept. of Human Resources Child Abuse Registry, ABI/FBI registry; the ability to acquire, peform and maintain identified certifications.There are also minimum training requirements that will be discussed upon interview.
