Special Education Teacher(s) needed to teach in Glenwood's year-round school for children with autism (Allan Cott School).
Conduct and supervise day treatment/educational activities per treatment plan and educational guidelines. Appropriately handle self-injurious, aggressive, and disruptive behavior. Utilize structured teaching techniques in behavior management, communication skills, vocational skills, academics, and social and leisure skills to maximize client potential.
Requirements: BA/BS in education with special education certification, valid driver's license and a good driving record. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis a plus. This job has minimum training requirements that must be met and will be discussed upon interview.
Shift: 7:00 - 3:00
